.The Half-Mile Timing Invitational will consist of a High School and Middle School. The high school 5k will have a Varsity and JV race, weDO NOTallow UNATTACHED runners. Varsity races are allowed to run 10 athletes and JV unlimited entries. The middle school will have a boys and girls 3k race and will be a super qualifier for the middle school state meet. This is separate from the high school sanctioned races which is why it is a separate fee. We will only accept the first 100 schools. There will be no assigned starting boxes; it will be first come first serve. The varsity races will be cut off at 30 minutes. If your athlete gets caught by the following race they will not be in the results. This event will be sanctioned for FL & GA if any teams from other states are interested in coming please let me know so we can get the proper sanctions.

Registration will be on www.flrunners.com. To be able to register your team, you must pay for your team first in order to get the password to open up the registration. Payments can be made by credit card or check. Checks must be made out to B3R Promotions LLC. Please put an e-mail address and event name (HMT XC Invite) on the check note so we know who to e-mail the password too and what event you are paying for. Mail checks to Dusty Smith 9151 NW 40th Street Chiefland, Fl 32626. To pay by credit card please e-mail me for the steps. Registration will end Tuesday, September 1st at midnight. High School & Middle School coaches please enter your entire roster, not just your Varsity runners. Packet Pick-Up
Packet pick up will start when the course opens Friday at 2p.m. and end at 6 p.m. It will open again Saturday morning at 5:00 a.m. when the gates open. Coaches no checks will be accepted the day of the event since you have to send payment to receive password to enter. Coaches please make sure you get your packets 30 minutes before your race to ensure enough time to get the timing chips signed out and onto your runner's shoes. Coaches will be in charge of returning the timing chips back where they picked their packets up.
Timing
HMT will be using the Ipico/ Finishlynx triad chip timing system. There will be mile marker clocks as well as instant results scrolling on the finish line display board. Chipped timed race results will be posted around the park and at www.halfmiletiming.com. Any protested results must be done before 40 minutes after results have been posted!
Team Awards
High School Varsity and Middle School top 2 overall teams Boys and Girls will get custom team awards. Winners will receive a 3ft timing chip with event logo and runner up will receive a 2ft timing chip with event logo.
Individual Awards
HS Varsity top 10 receive medals
11-50 ribbons.
HS JV top 3 medals 4-25 ribbons
Middle School top 10 medals
11-50 ribbons.
Elementary Mile top 10 male and female overall will get medals.
Course
This course has hells hills! This course will test your runner's strength and mental toughness. The mile and 2 mile is located within walking distance of the start and finish giving spectators maximum viewing spots to watch their athlete. This course was the host course for the 2014 FHSAA 1A, 2A & 3A Region 2.

Event shirts will be on sale for $12.00 pre- sale till August 21st 2015. Day of the event will be $15.00 cash $16.00 credit card and in limited quantity at the event .To be guaranteed a t-shirt you can pre order by e-mailing [email protected]. Youth sizes will be pre sale only! We will need team name, quantity & shirt sizes.
Order must be sent and paid for by Friday August 21st. No exceptions!!!
Parking
There will be a $5.00 per vehicle charge for spectator parking. Team buses and team vans are free, if a parent has an athlete in the car they still have to pay $5. Coaches please make sure your parents are aware of this!
